Therapy for College Women

You're a college student with a lot on your plate. You're trying to balance schoolwork and your social life, but you find yourself skipping out on school expectations so you don't miss out of college life with your roommates or friends. Or maybe you can't seem to find the motivation to keep pouring all of your energy into assignments for classes you're just not that interested in. Or perhaps you hole yourself up in your room because you're tired from all of the expectations of being a good student and getting excellent grades, and you can't muster enough energy to do anything else.

Adjusting to college has been difficult and sometimes you question whether or not you're making the right choices for yourself. It's been hard to keep up with school and find time to do all of the things you're expected to do as a college student. Your grades aren't quite what you thought they would be and your disappointment is weighing on you. Or maybe your grades are great, but you're exhausted from keeping up with the demands of being a successful student.

No one prepared you for how stressful college would really be. It's hard to live away from home and feel like an adult when you don't have all of the answers. You're managing your own money, creating new social connections and keeping up with homework, all while working a part-time job and trying to figure out what you want to do with your life.

College is stressful and it's absolutely okay to ask for help. Sometimes, we just need a little time and space to unload all of the daily pressures of being a college student and balancing life. I'm happy to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to process and problem-solve your unique challenges, and find a bit of relief from all of those stressors weighing you down.
